How to adopt?
Fill out adoption form online and submit.
Once summitted we will be contacting you to confirm your request and answer any question you may have.
Please note not all trees are ready to be rehomed.
Once your tree(s) are ready for their transitions we will contact you.

For thousands of years these icons have stood and shaped our desert landscapes. The world’s changing and our friend the Joshua Tree is in need of a family. We are currently rehoming legally permitted, harvested, grown and re-established western Joshua Trees.
FAQs
How much will it cost?
JTAP and Greenbee Landscape provide water, storage and maintenance of the translocated trees for nearly 4 years. Now, they are re-established and ready for a permanent home. In order to cover these expenses we charge the following fees for adoption:
Picked up
24” boxed trees up to 3’ tall- $300 each
Grown from a seedling and cared for, 13 years
Box trees and Bare root- $100 foot including branches
Delivered- $75 within 10 miles, beyond 10 miles ask for quote
Delivered and planted
Free delivery within 10 miles, beyond 10 miles ask for quote
24” boxed up to 3’ tall- $600 each
Boxed and Bare root- $200 foot including branches
Example- 5’ high tree with 3 feet of branches = 8 ft. total $1600
Do you warranty the Joshua trees?
Yes, If we plant the tree and you follow minimal care instructions, we will warrantee the tree for one full year. Call us if you are noticing any signs of stress so that we can evaluate the status at any given time.
Why do I have to wait for a Joshua tree to “be ready” before I pick it up?
Because the trees are recovering from the initial transplant and will need time to regenerate roots and re-establish new growth before moving to their permanent home, usually 6-12 months.
Can you plant the trees for me?
Yes, our professionals can deliver and plant the tree upon request for a quoted price.
Can you deliver the trees?
Yes, we will quote delivery fees upon request, depending on size and number of trees and distance to your location.
How am I going to take care of my Joshua tree?
Easy! Once adopted, we offer our easy to follow “Joshua Tree planting and aftercare” instructions to aid you and your tree(s) future growth.
